2020 has truly been a turning point for America. Between a global pandemic and protests against systemic racism, our country seems to be begging for forward progress. In light of these recent events, I have decided to put my attention and energies towards getting involved in a local organization called Big Brothers Big Sisters of Tampa Bay, in an attempt to create positive change.
Big Brothers Big Sisters is actually a global organization that pairs kids (Littles) with adults (Bigs) such as myself. The "Littles" can range anywhere from 5 to 12 years old in age and are typically seeking guidance for a number of reasons, but primarily, just because they'd like to be heard. I joined in hopes that I can be that active-listener in someone's life, and hopefully create change for the better.
As a part of joining this organization, I have decided to participate in their upcoming fundraiser: Over The Edge. Each participant in this fundraiser raises money in order to rappel down 17 stories of the Tampa Bay Downtown Hilton hotel. Despite my immense fear of heights, I have decided to participate in order to challenge myself, and to support this great organization that I am so excited to be a part of.
As a form of fundraising for this event, I have decided that 100% of Kay Coastal's Face Mask proceeds will go straight to my $1500 goal for Over the Edge! If you would like to support me by ordering some CUSTOM or pre-designed Face Masks, I would be extremely grateful.
You can customize your Face Mask to include business logos, favorite team colors, cute patterns, first names, last names, anything goes! I am happy to make custom designs, so that we can sell as many masks as possible.
